The furnace rating plate is inside the blower compartment door, but the heat kit has its own label on the kit assembly. You need both. The kit label carries the kW rating and part number that determine which element fits.
Are Armstrong Air and Ducane elements the same as Lennox?
Frequently. Lennox owns all three and they share platforms in several product lines. We confirm against your specific model and serial rather than assuming, because sharing varies by generation.
Some stages heat and others do not. Is that the sequencer?
Almost certainly not. Partial heat means the sequencer is doing its job on the stages that do fire, the dead stages are burned-open elements. A failed sequencer typically leaves you with no strip heat at all.
