How we handle the information you send us.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, along with whatever equipment details and photographs you choose to send. We collect this because we cannot identify a replacement element or reply to you without it.
How we use it
To identify the element you need, to reply to your enquiry, and to fulfil any order that follows. We keep a record of past orders so repeat purchases do not require starting from scratch.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except where necessary to ship your order.
Analytics
We use privacy-focused web analytics to understand which pages are useful. It records aggregate page views and referrers. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you.
Photographs you send
Photographs of rating plates and equipment are used solely to identify your replacement part. Please avoid including anything personal in frame — we only need the plate.
Retention
We keep enquiry and order records as long as needed to support the equipment we have supplied for, and to meet Canadian business record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
