The guides, calculators and specifications here are provided to help you diagnose and order correctly. They are general information, not a substitute for a qualified technician's assessment of your specific equipment.
Electrical safety
Heating elements operate on circuits that can kill. Any work described on this site assumes the circuit has been isolated and verified dead first. Electrical work in Ontario must comply with the Canadian Electrical Code, and much of it must legally be carried out by a licensed electrician. If you are not certain you can do something safely, do not do it.
We are not liable for injury, damage or loss arising from work you carry out on your own equipment.
Calculator results
Our calculators apply standard electrical formulas to figures you enter. Results depend entirely on the accuracy of those figures, and are estimates for guidance. They do not constitute an electrical inspection, a wiring design, or professional engineering advice.
Quotes and orders
Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. We confirm element specifications in writing before shipping, and it is your responsibility to check that confirmation against your equipment before approving.
Custom-built elements are manufactured to your approved specification and cannot be returned or restocked, which is why we confirm every dimension before building.
Brand names
Manufacturer names and model numbers appear on this site to identify the equipment our elements fit. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. We are an independent supplier and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by any equipment manufacturer named here.
